OUR STORY

We first met in 2019 through church, but it wasn’t until 2021 that we really began to connect. At first, we were just familiar faces, sharing brief conversations here and there. We had no idea that God was quietly weaving our paths together.

Everything changed on our first date - 25th September 2021. With no plan in mind, we wandered the city for hours, talking, laughing, and simply enjoying each other’s presence. What seemed simple became unforgettable. That night ended at 3 a.m., and by then, we both knew something special had begun.

While sitting on a bench overlooking the river, Wayne asked, “Where do you see yourself in five years?” Angel gave a thoughtful but generic answer - something about career and marriage, but Wayne simply said, “In five years, I see myself being here with you.”

Four years later, to the exact day, we’re now getting married - right on the anniversary of our story's beginning.

The journey hasn’t always been easy, but through every challenge, we chose love, grace, and each other. We’ve seen firsthand how faithful God has been in bringing and keeping us together.

“Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.” - 1 Corinthians 13:7

That verse speaks directly to our journey. It has been our anchor, our reminder that love is more than a feeling—it’s a choice, a commitment, and a gift from God.

Our wedding day marks the start of our forever, and we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives writing this story together.
